We will be bringing you news and information about gigs, (Hothouse Flowers, PreNup or otherwise), Fiachna’s various music and TV projects.

Since the end of 2008 Fiachna has been working in television during much of his time off the road. He started off working as a judge on TG4 talent show Glas Vegas, before heading off to Arizona to present a documentary called “Cowboys” about the Gunfight at the OK Corral which was broadcast on TG4 on October 30th 2009 and he is now nearing completion of An Cór, a music show that will feature a competition between choirs from around Ireland singing their arrangements of many traditional Irish songs. Fiachna’s role as presenter is to introduce the background and history of the songs to the choirs as well as to the audience at home. It has bought him from the GPO in Dublin, to Tory Island to Connemara and back..

Fiachna has also been working on an exciting new music project called Afric which blends Irish sean nós songs with South African rhythms and voices. They are about halfway through the recording which has taken place in Paris, London and Dublin. The projects is a collaboration with Barry van Zyl and Robin Hogarth along with the Soweto Gospel Choir and the release is scheduled for 2010
